Circulation Department

The Circulation Department is charged with the responsibility of distributing more than 280,000 copies of all The Sun News.

The heart of the department is the carrier supervisor staff. Supervised by the circulation managers, these employees oversee more than 2,000 youth carriers and 90 delivery drivers who distribute the Sun products each week. Front door delivery is the hallmark of The Sun News and each carrier is expected to provide this service.

Delivery every Thursday

The Sun News guarantees delivery to every carrier-delivered subscriber by 8:30 a.m. Thursday mornings. Exceptions to this would be total market coverage products that are delivered Thursday afternoons, and mail delivery which is restricted by the delivery schedule of each postal route carrier.

Customer Service Department

The circulation customer service department maintains the department's computer database. This sophisticated operation keeps records on every address in the The Sun News distribution area.
